Programs

Splashball is designed to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport of water polo in a fun, safe, and easy to learn aquatic experience for children ages 5-12. No water polo experience is needed. The Splashball program will motivate kids to swim and stay fit.

Competitive Age Groups

These levels accommodate players from novice to advanced. Basic swimming ability is required to be able to enjoy and perform at this level. Athletes attend regular practices and scrimmages throughout the week as well as tournaments once a month. Year round quality coaching allows us to attempt to qualify for national events such as US Club Championships and National Junior Olympics.

Edge Water follows USA Water Polo’s guidelines to determine age group eligibility. Athletes are placed in the age group based on the athleteʼs age as of August 1st each year. For example, if a player turns 12 on August 1, they will be eligible to play with the 12 & Under age group. If the player turns 13 on July 31, they will no longer be eligible for the 12 & Under category. They are, however, eligible to participate in the 14 & Under category.
