Water Polo is an aquatic version of soccer and basketball, where the main objective of the game is to score goals on offense and prevent goals by playing defense. There are 6 field players in each team and 1 goalie. Players can only hold the ball with one hand at a time. Water Polo is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States with a multitude of high school and collegiate programs. Water Polo is an Olympic sport.
Here is a video that describes the game of Water Polo.
Splashball™  is designed to bridge the gap between learn-to-swim and the sport of water polo for children 5-11 participating in a Splashball™ Program. The intent is to provide basic skills and understanding of the sport in a recreational format. Although water polo is known for its toughness and endurance, Splashball™ harnesses all the fun, dynamic aspects of the game in a safe, easy to learn aquatic experience that will motivate kids to swim and stay fit.

Below is a video that best describes Splashball

Water Polo is a fun, competitive sport that builds character and resilience. Water Polo athletes dedicate themselves to not only the physical, but also the mental aspects of the game. They learn to have an impeccable work ethic both inside and outside of the pool, while being inspired by teamwork. Water Polo athletes learn time management skills and how to fuel and care for their bodies for optimal performance.
